I lost my virginity when I was 16. We loved each other but were just too young and we both regretted what we did. I'm now 59 yrs old and I have run into him maybe 4-5 times over the years. It was always nice to see him. We'd greet each other with a hug and usually sit and have a catch up over coffee for a half hour or so. Neither of us would ever intentionally contact the other for the purpose of getting together to talk. We both married, both have children and now grandchildren. Do I feel anything romantic for him now?.........no, not at all. You're always smarter looking back than you are dreaming forward! A marriage between us never would have worked or lasted. We both ended up happily married with other people. But it's true, you really don't forget the one you give your virginity too.........after all, it's something you can only do once!
