3 (almost 4 yr old) driving me insane...help!!!?

having a new baby is hard for everyone, it sounds to me like she is really bored. she bothers with the baby and the birds and pulls things apart to keep herself busy and at 3 years old thats fun and not to mention if she feels like she isnt getting enough attention she knows that you it will get your attention, even if it is negative. if the helper thing isnt really working i would say make sure she is getting special mommy time. she was used to having you all to yourself, then all of a sudden she is kind of on her own. when the baby is sleeping spend some special time with her, make a big deal about how its her special time, do an art project or bake cookies. maybe have daddy hold baby so the two of you can have snuggle time at bedtime without interuption, or a trip to the park on saturday just her, just make sure she is "feeling the love" she is probably picking up on your frusteration with her as well as being overwhelmed by both kids and when they are so young they dont know how to just say "mommy this is how i feel" they act out. in addition just keep being consistant with timeouts when she does soemthing she knows not too. good luck.
