Are we becoming numb to violence?

Well, the victims here are adults not kids. Maybe that is the first reason why you don't feel the same sorrow. The other thing is that we hear on the news everyday that 10 - 130 people are killed in Iraq daily in terrorist attacks. 30 people here in 50 years isn't that bad. Don't get me wrong, I thought it was sad, but I also thought there was too much media coverage of the event.
