Creationists: Did you ever think that the "days" of the Creation could have meant the "eras" of evolution?
What proof do you have that God couldn't have been using a simplistic way to describe a time period as long as an era to Bronze Age people who, as we know, probably wouldn't have had any earthly idea what a "million" is? Couldn't these "days" have been days as your God saw them, which is larger and beyond a human day? Since God is beyond human, according to your Bible, couldn't a couple hundred million years just be a day to Him? Couldn't these "days" really signify eras in evolution, since the amount of eras lines up approximately with the number of eras there have been?
