What does this all mean for me?

So like, there's this girl in my cl, that I like, alot. We're both friends and stuff. But I've always been watching her from afar since middle school. Then we get put next to eachother, become somewhat good friends and she starts this whole thing where she stares me down from across the room. Everytime I glance in her direction she'll notice me and start staring again and we'll start laughing. But since I like her, I usually get embarrased and look away, which i'm sure she notices. Why does she stare at me all the time? Is it humiliation? D:
