What do you think a 14 yr old would like to have crocheted for her?

Well, you see, shes movin to florida, and i wanted to make her a going away gift. I was going to crochet her a bow and hotglue it to a headband, but she deicided that wasn't her style! I was thinking maybe amigurumi, but i dont know how to get started, and i cant find any free patterns that aren't all ugly and stuffz. :'( Help me?
