My 4yo horse gets excitable around other horses!! how can i prevent it?

in a situation like this it might help for your horse to be around horses as much as possible so it becomes less of a big deal. horses are naturally herd animals so if she is kept on her own every time she sees other horses she over reacts. try to turn her out with other horses and may be go in group lessons from time to time. the more contact she has with horses the less likely she is to over react!
