Hospital bill help?

As a Patient Account Manager of a 250 bed hospital, we have situations like this periodically. Call the Patient Account Manager and ask for a Financial Data Sheet to fill out to see if you qualify for charity. If the answer is NO, normally Medicaid pays about 35% of the bill if you would have had that. You might offer to pay a 35% settlement providing you can get that much money in one lump sum. Otherwise your only choice is bankruptcy. Good Luck.
